Ashaway
The Ashaway is designed to hold hot ashes, thereby enabling you to empty or clean a stove at your convenience, without having to run through the house with a smoking pail. Remember, a clean stove can burn more to your advantage.
Placed attractively on the hearth, this container can readily be used for several fillings before emptying. It holds as much as a five gallon pail.
The Ashaway can be carried with the support handle and it will tilt backward to avoid spilling. To empty simple crack the latch, and tilt forward using the rear handle.
The Ashaway was designed in 1978 by my father Pete and was included with the purchase of new Jotul stoves during the 1980's.
